Florence Griffith Pottery Studio
Classes: 8 sessions, $80. Includes 25 lbs of clay (extra clay is available at a reduced cost), pre-mixed glazes or stains, studio firing and 24 hours of instruction. 3 hours a week for 8 weeks or 2 hours a week for 12 weeks.
Classes are also available by the hour, $15 an hour. Includes clay, pre-mixed glazes or stains, and studio firing on completed pieces.
Mini-Classes are available for $10, includes one complete piece from start to finish that is yours to keep.

Ages: 4-6: STORYBOOK ALIVE- Act out a different fairy tale each week. Select a favorite story to perform for family and friends on the last day.
Ages: 6-8: ALL THE WORLD’s A STAGE-Explore different cultures by creating plays based on stories from around the world. Each session focuses on a different country. Theme: India.
Ages: 7-11: FRACTURED FAIRY TALES-Learn & improve acting & performance skills while playing whacky characters in “Fractured Fairy Tales” from the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show
Ages: 7-17: CINEMAGIC-Explore the art of film acting! Learn to be a screen actor through on-camera performances of commercials & scenes from TV shows, movies, & plays. Students will receive a DVD of their camera work
Ages: 7-11: PUPPET MAKING & PERFORMANCE-Learn to create your own puppets & bring them to life to tell a story. Perform a puppet play on the last day of class.
Ages: 8-13: PHYSICAL COMEDY: Circus & Clowning-Learn juggling, tumbling, hat tricks & clowning. Have fun, laugh, go crazy.
Ages: 9-14: SCENE & BE HEARD-Learn techniques to improve your voice & movement on stage. Apply your new skills to scenes & perform them for family & friends on the last day of class. Third grade reading level & memorization required. Excellent preparation for spring auditions.
Ages: 9-16 SHAKESPEARE COMEDIES-Get in shape for the Shakespeare Festival. Learn comic timing, physical comedy, and word play. Present scenes from Shakespeare’s comedies during the final class.

The Collection: Beginning Watercolors Workshop
Would you like to learn how to paint with watercolors? The Collection will be hosting an adults-only introduction to the art of watercolor painting!
Join local artist and teacher May Yipp as she shows you the basics of watercolors. No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided. This is a workshop series of 4 classes in the art of watercolor. Classes are on Mondays from 2pm-4pm.
Ages: Adults 18 and up
